Silencing the Truth: Georgia’s Assault on Free Speech Activists Escalates
In a chilling case of government overreach, Philip (Matt) and Hilary Jacobs, along with Michael Weaver, have been relentlessly targeted by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia for exercising their First Amendment rights. Over 15 months ago, the Jacobs’ home was raided, and they were arrested on trumped-up littering charges for distributing flyers containing factual information about Jewish influence in American politics—a topic deemed untouchable by the Anti-Defamation League ((((ADL)))) and the establishment.
The charges against the Jacobs are baseless, as the Georgia Supreme Court case Statesboro Publishing v. City of Sylvania clearly protects the distribution of information as free speech, not litter.
