Many German cities and towns now feature foreigners who terrorize the local populace, with some having dozens or even over 100 police encounters. The German city of Güstrow, in the eastern state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, can now add itself to this list. There, a 21-year-old Afghan is becoming a regular with police.
The climax to his numerous police encounters occurred on Monday and Tuesday of last week, when the police were called to deal with the man three times in less than 24 hours. However, the man is well-known to the police for various incidents even before last week.
The first incident occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Monday in an apartment building in Verbindungschaussee. The 21-year-old began damaging his own apartment building over a power and internet outage, which allegedly sent him into a rage. The man, who lives with his 23-year-old sister, had his own sister call the police on him.
The officers managed to restrain the man and file a complaint for property damage. The man was then temporarily banned from the apartment building.
The next day, at around 11:30 a.m., the Afghan became enraged over lawn care work being performed in the area. He then entered the property of the lawn care company and threatened two gardeners due to their work with brush cutters. The two workers fled from the area and police arrived to subdue the Afghan man.
The officers determined the Afghan was intoxicated and ordered him to leave the area. The lawn care workers did not file a complaint, which is why the police allowed the man to leave the property.
However, just four hours later, the 21-year-old punched a fellow Afghan, aged 41, for no apparent reason, on a street right next to his building. The 41-year-old had a restraining order on the 21-year-old, and the young Afghan was apparently unhappy that his victim was chatting with a neighbor.
Police arrested him once again and tested him for intoxication, with his blood alcohol level showing he was at 2.07 per mille, according to Nord Kurier.
This time, the man was taken to a police station in Rostock, where the Afghan spent the night before being released again. The man is currently under investigation for assault.
This Afghan’s crime spree is hardly unique. In one small German town, a Moroccan migrant has been arrested over 100 times for various offenses.
In the German town of Zetel, a Lebanese migrant was harassing and stalking children for two years, but still remained free to walk the streets despite over 100 investigations launched against him.
In another case, an 11-year-old Moroccan migrant led a robbery gang that broke into over 70 homes in Norderstedt in Schleswig-Holstein.
