Nationalist activists protest in Sydney demanding an end to mass immigration

A large group of nationalist activists held an anti-immigration rally in Sydney on the weekend, warning that mass migration is turning Australia into a third world country.

About 35 members of newly formed political organisation White Australia stood outside the NSW Parliament House on Macquarie Street on Sunday morning with a banner reading “End immigration”.

Video posted on the group’s Telegram channel shows leader Jack Eltis making a speech through a megaphone and calling for the country’s borders to be closed.

“We are here today because we are fed up with the state of this nation, we are fed up with mass immigration. The men standing here represent hundreds of thousands, million of White Australians,” he began.

“It was men in this building and buildings like this around the nation who have decided for us, against our interests, against the interests of the Australian people.”

The rally was then briefly interrupted by an aggressive left-wing agitator who yelled abuse before being moved on by police.

“Our nations will restore, and our people will flourish as a race, and we can return to greatness, we can return to the nation that our ancestors built for us,” Mr Eltis continued.

“Our country is slowly becoming the third world. We’ve seen it in Europe, we’ve seen it in the US, and now we see it here. Gangs of criminals roam our streets.

“We don’t need to follow in the footsteps of Europe and the US where the situation is much worse – we can fix it. We seek an immediate end to migration to this country.”

The demonstration was the organisation’s first in Sydney, and comes after a series of rallies by White Australia’s activist branch the National Socialist Network (NSN) in Melbourne in recent weeks – one at an African gang-plagued shopping centre and another at the Department of Home Affairs.

The last time the NSN gathered in Sydney was on Australian Day in 2024 when Premier Chris Minns ordered a police crackdown and prevented the activist group from marching, while thousands of anti-Australian and pro-Palestine protesters were allowed to block streets in the city and chant extremist slogans.

According to official figures released last week, Australia’s population grew to 27.4 million by December 31, 2024, an increase of 1.7% and 445,900 people more than the same time in 2023.

There were 594,900 immigrant arrivals, the third highest on record behind 2023’s 751,500 and 2022’s 619,600, pushing the foreign-born population to 31.5%, up from 30.7% in 2023 – the previous record high since Federation.

Between 2019 and 2024 the number of Australian residents born in India grew from 665,400 to 916,330, the the China-born went from 661,460 to 700,120, those born in the Philippines increased from 294,160 to 394,380, and the Nepal-born population grew from 119,060 to 197,800.

The population born in the above four countries alone is now at 2.2 million, out of a total of 8.6 million Australian residents born overseas.
