Note that various media have identified the following killings as the killing of an app-based gig worker. In some cases, the app companies have denied that the person was killed while active on their platform.
On November 1st, 2023, National Conservative published the largest collection of app-based gig-worker murders ever made. A total of 63 murders from 2021-2023, of which 48 had a known suspect. Activist groups had been crowing that “People of Color” and immigrants were being disproportionately killed. However, all of these activists censor who the suspects are. What we discovered was shocking. 83.3% of known suspects were Black. Only 4.2% were White. If anything, it is actually Whites who are disproportionately murdered since so few of the perps are White.
Now, we are updating the list with another thirty-eight more murders. Of these, thirty-one have a known race for the suspect.
