American Jared Taylor (73) has been known for over 30 years as a eugenics advocate and a central ideologue for white power circles in both the US and Europe. He speaks openly about dark-skinned people as uncivilized and less intelligent – and his great dream of segregating the US in a “revolution” on behalf of white people.
Taylor has led or participated in countless conferences with well-known right-wing extremists with backgrounds from, among others, the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazi circles, Holocaust denial, and various fascist movements.
Now the far-right Norwegian party, the Norwegian Democrats, has also chosen to highlight Taylor’s ideas. In 2025 and 2024, the party’s online newspaper “Uten Filter” published articles by Jared Taylor nine times. The editor of Uten Filter is Øyvind Eikrem, deputy leader of the Norwegian Democrats .
Filter News’ review shows that some of the articles that the Norgesdemokratenes website disseminates to Norwegian readers advocate “racial hygiene” and the genetic advantages of white people.
The party newspaper has also linked directly to Taylor’s website, which is known for its overt racial ideology, and promoted the translated articles on “Uten Filter” on social media.
Translated speech from fascist conference into Norwegian
One of the texts published by the Norwegian Democrats is a speech Jared Taylor gave at a conference organized by American Renaissance on December 3, 2024.
In the text, which the Norwegian Democrats have had translated into Norwegian, he writes about “racial differences in IQ” , “white racial consciousness” , the fight for “a nation that protects our interests as white people” , his opposition to “mixing the races” and the importance of “defying the elite on the racial issue” and building societies “where only white people should live” .
The conference from which the speech is taken included the leaders of the far-right Patriot Front , who have previously had contact with both extremists in the Active Club in Norway and the Scandinavian neo-Nazis in the Nordic Resistance Movement (DNM). At Taylor’s conference, a representative of the Mussolini-inspired Italian fascist party CasaPound was also among the speakers – also a far-right group that has collaborated with the Nazis in the DNM.
In addition to publishing the speech in Norwegian, the Norwegian Democrats website posted a link to American Renaissance’s original video version of Jared Taylor’s speech.
Another of the texts that the Norgesdemokratenes newspaper has selected for publication is entitled “Demography is still destiny,” in which Taylor states that Republicans in the United States do not “promote white interests” to a sufficient extent. Again, he is blatant that it is skin color that he sorts people by: “the most important thing I want to preserve is white people and the hope of a North America where we are forever the undisputed majority ,” the text on the Norgesdemokratenes website states.
Taylor is the gateway to open racism for many who took the journey to Nazism
Jared Taylor, who calls himself a “race realist”, has been known since the 1990s for publishing his own and others’ racist interpretations on his website American Renaissance , which the Norwegian Democrats’ website also links to in its translations.
Taylor – highly educated at prestigious universities – serves as an intellectual alibi for right-wing extremist circles around the world. For example, several of his texts and videos have been referenced on the websites of the violent Nazi organization The Nordic Resistance Movement (DNM) here at home.
Taylor’s American Renaissance conferences in the United States have been described by researchers at the civil rights organization SPLC as “the place where racist ‘intellectuals’ mingle with Klansmen and neo-Nazis . “
The far-right terrorist Dylann Roof was inspired by texts from one of Taylor’s groups, the Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC), when Roof shot and killed nine black churchgoers in a church in Charleston, USA, in 2015. After the massacre, Jared Taylor went to great lengths to legitimize the motive behind the terrorist attack:
“Our website educated him. Our website told him the truth about interracial crime. What he chose to do with that truth is absolutely not our responsibility,” said Taylor, who was a spokesman for the racist organization at the time.
Taylor gained renewed attention when, in parallel with Donald Trump’s 2016 election campaign, he became known as one of the most important ideologues of the “alt-right.” The alt-right was the brand name for a collective effort by a number of different far-right groups to entice the general public to legitimize fascist ideas.
The former right-wing extremist Evan McLaren was central to the American alt-right movement, but has since completely distanced himself from the ideology, is now an active opponent of racism and lives in Norway. He knows Jared Taylor well and describes him as follows to Filter Nyheter:
– Jared Taylor serves as the gateway to a “respectable” and “scientific” racism for many who are looking for a basis and an excuse for their fear, disgust and hostility towards non-white people. For those who took the journey from libertarianism to fascism and Nazism, Taylor was often their first introduction to open racism, in a form that they were willing to present in public.
Taylor is one of the few leading figures in racial ideological circles who is not himself considered anti-Semitic, but he has chosen to give speeches at conferences such as the Norwegian-Swedish Scandza Forum , side by side with well-known Jew-haters such as compatriot and Breivik admirer Greg Johnson.
Advocates racial hygiene
The texts from Taylor that the Norwegian Democrats publish are presented by the party as “readers’ contributions” but are actually Norwegian translations of articles Taylor has written on his own website American Renaissance , which is known for openly promoting eugenics – also known as racial hygiene.
One of the articles the Norwegian party has translated into Norwegian is titled ” We are all eugenicists now.”
“It is time for the country to return to common sense. Eugenics improves people, just as selective breeding improves plants and animals. (…) Fast racehorses produce fast young horses. (…) In the early 1900s, we understood that these principles applied to us. It was common to attend free public lectures on racial hygiene ,” Taylor writes there.
In the article in “Uten Filter”, Taylor announces his irritation that World War II (the Nazis, in other words) ruined the reputation of eugenics:
“After World War II, a kind of madness took over, which is only now beginning to disappear. (…) What has held us back for decades is the fear that if we start taking human genetics seriously again, we can no longer pretend that genetic differences between races do not exist,” writes Taylor .
In an article with the Norwegian title “Slik dør vesten”, the Norgesdemokratenes newspaper conveys Jared Taylor’s call for white “resistance” against the “foreigners”:
“This is how Western civilization can die – paralyzed whites unable to take the most obvious steps to protect what is theirs. (…) Foreigners invade, and whites offer no resistance.”
In another text on the Norwegian Democrats’ website, Taylor makes it clear that only “white people” should be considered “our people”:
“I want Europe to remain European, because I love white people. Our biggest immediate threat is immigration and the great replacement. I support anyone who wants to stop it (…) Saving our people is job number one.”

On Saturday, August 16, the Norwegian Democrats organized a conference on what they call “remigration” – in practice mass deportation – with speakers from Germany, Great Britain, Ireland and Sweden who have backgrounds in fascist groups and collaboration with neo-Nazis.
The conference was “important for bringing new perspectives to Norwegian politics,” said ND deputy leader Øyvind Eikrem in his introduction. Some of the foreign speakers are known for promoting ethnic cleansing – where even immigrants with citizenship and their descendants are defined by the idea of a “native”, white people, who should be defended from “extermination” through deportations.
Ahead of the conference in Norway, the far-right activist Tore Rasmussen, who topped the list for the Norwegian Democrats in the previous election, was at a large “remigration” conference in Milan, Italy, together with Jared Taylor. The two posed for a photo with Norwegian cake flags because the conference coincided with May 17. Several of the speakers in Milan were the same ones who were the main attractions at the conference at Gardermoen.
Rasmussen has previously collaborated with Taylor in connection with Rasmussen’s publishing house Legatum Publishing , but it is unclear to what extent Rasmussen has been involved in Taylor’s relationship with the Norway Democrats and the implementation of the conference at Gardermoen.
Rasmussen’s website “Rabulisten” has also published at least five texts from Jared Taylor or American Renaissance in the past year.
Filter Nyheter has previously written about Tore Rasmussen’s past as a neo-Nazi around the beginning of the 2000s and that in recent years he has been involved in the anti-immigration “identitarian movement” , which advocates breaking up today’s populations in Europe in order to keep certain ethnic groups separate in different countries.
Rasmussen himself has claimed that the “globalists” are working for a policy that leads to “genocide” and that will “exterminate the Norwegian people through population replacement”. Rasmussen has also stated that “Norwegians are white”. On social media, Rasmussen has contemptuously called Norwegian public debaters such as VG commentator Shazia Majid, comedian Abubakar Hussain and MDG politician Shoaib Sultan “settlers”, asked them to “go home to Pakistan” or used the hashtag “#tilbakevandring” in connection with them, Filter Nyheter wrote in 2023. Labour Party politician Kamzy Gunaratnam “should be deported”, according to Rasmussen.
Filter News has sent the Norwegian Democrats’ party leader Geir Ugland Jacobsen and deputy leader Øyvind Eikrem, who is the editor of Jared Taylor’s Norwegian publications, several questions about the party’s relationship with the American racial ideologue.
Instead of answering the questions, the party’s online newspaper published a post on Monday evening in which it again linked to all the Jared Taylor articles.
