Woman Charged After ‘Slamming’ Baby Into Crib, Hitting Them on the Head During Day Care’s First Week in Operation

A day care employee in South Carolina was arrested for a “disturbing” attack on a child at a Christian preschool, authorities said.

Gladys Rampersant, 75, was arrested on Thursday and charged with unlawful conduct toward a child, the North Charleston Police Department announced. The alleged attack occurred in July.
