Machete-wielding African gangs have clashed at a shopping centre in Broadmeadows, Melbourne, with one of the armed thugs even filming himself confronting another balaclava-clad rival.
The video shows the male repeatedly saying “come on” in a foreign accent as the pair swing their blades at each other inside Broadmeadows Central shopping centre at about 7.20pm on Friday evening.
The other masked African also appeared to be filming.
The machete-wielding thugs can also be seen facing off in other clips filmed by bystanders, while terrified shoppers scream and run for cover. The youths then fled the area in a silver Honda and a white Mazda.

Victoria Police said they were investigating a fight that erupted between two rival gangs in the shopping centre car park and then moved into the centre, which is just a couple of hundred metres from one of Premier Jacinta Allan’s controversial “machete bins”.
A Middle Eastern immigrant who works at one of the stores but did not want to be identified told The Age that crime and violence were becoming normal in the area, just as it was in the country he fled.
“People got used to, where I came from, the violence, and they knew straight away how to deal with it,” he said.
“I don’t want people around here to get used to the same sort of stuff I got used to.”
The state government said in a statement: “This brazen, shocking behaviour is completely unacceptable and has no place here. Victoria Police is investigating and we are confident these people will be found and dealt with.
“We’ve implemented tougher laws to back the work of Victoria Police who are arresting a record number of offenders.”
But Opposition leader Brad Battin said crime in Victoria was too high.
“As a father, I like to think I can drop my kids off at the local shopping centre, they can go to the movies or go shopping and be safe. I’m starting to question that, and I’m not alone,” he said.
Ms Allan brought in the machete bins and banned the weapons following a series of shocking incidents involving African and other ethnic gangs at Melbourne shopping centre, including an alleged fight at Northland that sparked outrage and protests.
