Summary: The far-left extremist violence at the October 19 March for Australia wasn’t any worse than on August 31 or September 13, and while information is still emerging it seems like antifa were actually less violent, but the difference is a) they were mainly prevented from attacking the right this time b) a police commander with balls did his job properly, and spoke honestly about what happened.
For a full rundown on the events of the day you can read our article on it here, and read about leftist violence at the previous anti-immigration rallies here, and here, and here, and here.
At the first two rallies antifa were allowed to roam around the city attacking people, and the corporate media gave them as a pass, as it always does. No major outlet reported on Dave Murphy getting bashed, and no one reported the truth about Camp Sovereignty.
And the media were allowed to get away with it, because the cops were silent or complicit. They made biased comments about the Camp Sovereignty incident, they didn’t keep rival groups apart, and they didn’t prevent repeated far-left attacks on patriots and their cars or arrest a single person.
But for some unknown reason we got a rare honest and competent cop on Sunday and Wayne Cheeseman said what was obvious to everyone on the ground – all the violence was coming from the left, and the patriots were peaceful.
It helped that the police also did their jobs and kept a buffer zone between the two groups, which they should have done on August 31 as well, where all the violence was instigated by the left, and resulted in the NSN and other patriots fighting back in self-defence.
But this caught the media off guard, and they went about their biased reporting the way they normally do. Leftist journalists thought they could get away with depicting the rallies as violent, and did their best because they are desperate to portray them as negatively as they can.
If you read the above headlines you can see they range from the plain wrong (Daily Mail) to the misleading (all the rest). Most people don’t read past the headlines, or they let the headline be the first impression of the story and set the tone, and all the remaining headlines suggest to varying degrees that the violence involved March for Australia attendees, even though it didn’t.
Even worse, 7 News, in a clip which included “after two officers were hospitalised after clashing with anti-immigration protesters” in the caption, Cheeseman’s comments about the left were editing out, sparking outrage on X.
This was clear to everyone who was actually there, but they may have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for Commander Cheeseman and his press conference where he removed all doubt, and now the media lies are on full display.
Some outlets not mentioned above have updated their headlines, but it’s stunning that the rest haven’t.
They simply don’t care that they are smearing you, and the cause you marched for, even though wanting lower immigration is a majority position.
