Hauken Engineering Hong Kong Alleged Data Breach Exposes 106k Records

Hauken Engineering Co., Ltd., a Hong Kong-based supplier of industrial pumps and plumbing equipment to the construction industry, has allegedly been compromised. A threat actor on a dark web forum claims to be in possession of a high-quality database extracted from the company’s systems (hauken.com.hk). The breach reportedly impacts approximately 106,000 entries, which the actor describes as an “Industrial Product DB” containing brand and contact information.

According to the actor, the allegedly compromised dataset is “untouched” and contains valid information not available publicly. The leaked data fields reportedly include:

  • Product names and IDs (including system and detail IDs)

  • Brand names

  • Contact phone numbers

  • Contact fax numbers

  • Web URLs and email addresses

  • System IP addresses (created_ip, modified_ip)

  • Country codes and language codes

  • Internal system timestamps (created_at, modified_at)
