President Donald Trump has issued a statement addressing the deadly shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer in Minneapolis.
‘I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota,’ the president’s lengthy statement began. ‘It is a horrible thing to watch.’
‘The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense,’ Trump continued.
Videos of the horrific incident have quickly gone viral on social media.
One clip shows several ICE agents approach a burgundy Honda Pilot while demanding the driver get out of the vehicle.
The driver does not follow the orders, then reverses the car before putting it in drive and speeding forward at an agent directly in front of the hood.
That agent quickly unholsters his gun and fires three times towards the non-cooperative driver.
Then the car can be seen careening into the back of a parked car down the street.
The president attached a clip of the shooting to his Truth Social post.
‘Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital,’ Trump said of the agent. ‘The situation is being studied, in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis.’
‘They are just trying to do the job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE. We need to stand by and protect our Law Enforcement Officers from this Radical Left Movement of Violence and Hate!’
ICE has claimed that the woman driving the vehicle intentionally sped forward, trying to injure the officer.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has said that the agents’ claim of acting in self-defense is ‘bullsh**.’
Frey blasted ICE’s characterization of the shooting and told them to ‘get the f**k out of Minneapolis.’
