On 14th January 2026 two Israeli jews named Stanislav Grinberg and Peter Gizunterman – who were both born in the Ukraine – (1) were indicted in Ohio for a massive mortgage fraud and money laundering scheme. Predictably this has been kept out of the mainstream media and national news since it is yet another example of why anti-Semitism is triggered by jewish behaviour and conduct not by ‘irrational ideas’.
Kevin Grasha writing for the ‘Cincinnati Enquirer’ explains the details as follows:
‘Two Israeli owners of a real estate investment company that owned apartment buildings in the Cincinnati area have been indicted in a $50 million bank fraud conspiracy scheme.
Federal prosecutors say Stanislav “Stas” Grinberg, Peter Gizunterman as well as two real estate title company employees “double-pledg(ed)” properties to obtain multiple loans and conspired to conceal information from lenders and investors.
Grinberg and Gizunterman formed Vision & Beyond, LLC in approximately 2019 to purchase 100 apartment buildings and family properties – many in the Cincinnati area – to renovate, according to prosecutors. They owned buildings in neighborhoods including Downtown, Avondale and Mount Airy.
Prosecutors say Grinberg and Gizunterman, with the help of the closing and title company employees, obtained refinancing for the properties but didn’t use the funds to pay off existing loans and mortgages.
They are accused of falsifying financial documents, altering closing documents and removing mortgages from title commitments.
In December 2022, for example, the indictment alleges that Grinberg and Gizunterman received two loans totaling more than $36 million for 60 multi-family properties they owned in the Cincinnati area.
The closing of those loans was supposed to pay off 30 prior mortgages. Instead, 20 of the prior mortgages worth $17.2 million were not paid off at closing, the indictment says.
More than $6.2 million of that money was paid directly to Vision & Beyond and nearly $7 million was paid to a title company used by Vision & Beyond.
In 2024, the company abandoned more than 70 Cincinnati-area properties and allowed them to go into foreclosure, according to previous reporting.
The indictment was filed Jan. 14 in federal court in Cincinnati.
Among the buildings Vision & Beyond once owned were the Kirby Avenue Apartments in Mount Airy, which were in such disrepair that a judge last year declared them a public nuisance.
That declaration gave the city the power to compel the building’s new management to address nuisance issues.
Grinberg has been held at the Butler County Jail since April. He was arrested in Texas in March after being charged in the case.
Grinberg’s attorney, Brad Moermond, said Grinberg denies the allegations. Moermond added that he is awaiting evidence in the case to review.
Gizunterman was not in custody on Jan. 14 and did not have an attorney listed in court records.
Both face charges including conspiracy to commit bank fraud, making false statements and money laundering.’ (2)
Grasha doesn’t do the best job of explaining exactly how the fraudulent scheme worked but the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio helpfully does a far better job when they explain how:
‘According to the indictment, Grinberg and Gizunterman formed the real estate business V&B in approximately 2019 to purchase 100 multi-unit apartments and family properties, including in the greater Cincinnati area, for renovation and rental income.
Grinberg and Gizunterman, with the help of Hamilton and West, then allegedly obtained refinancing for the properties but did not use the funds to pay off the existing loans and mortgages. The defendants also allegedly falsified financial documents, altered closing documents and removed mortgages from title commitments.
For example, in December 2022, the indictment details that Grinberg and Gizunterman received two loans totaling more than $36 million for approximately 60 multi-family properties in the Cincinnati area that were owned by the defendants. The closing of the two loans was supposed to pay off 30 specific prior mortgages.
It is alleged that 20 of the prior mortgages worth $17.2 million were not paid off at closing. Instead, more than $273,000 was allegedly paid directly to Hamilton; nearly $7 million was paid to a title company controlled by Hamilton and used by V&B; more than $6.2 million was paid directly to V&B’s account and approximately $2.7 million was paid to another bank.’ (3)
Basically, Grinberg and Gizunterman created a company, bought 100 multi-apartment properties using mortgages in 2019 then quickly refinanced these same properties on the understanding the original mortgages would be re-paid using these monies then they basically stole all the money from the refinancing and then abandoned the properties to go to rack and ruin causing the local authorities in Cincinnati to have to step in to prevent these properties becoming even more of a problem – presumably due to becoming crack houses, squats and/or public health hazards etc – by repossessing the properties concerned and securing them at taxpayer’s expense.
Further – as Grasha informs us – Grinberg and Gizunterman did the same thing in Lexington, Kentucky in 2023 using four apartment complexes (4) where they conned $24.6 million out of financial institutions and then dumped the apartment blocks on the taxpayers of Lexington to deal with. (5)
In summary then Grinberg and Gizunterman are two jews from Ukraine who went to Israel, became Israeli citizens (as well as served in the IDF) (6) and then immediately travelled to the US where they proceeded to con US financial institutions out of circa $75 million as well as dump the significant costs of securing dozens of vacant rundown properties on two different cities in two different states.
You can almost hear jews whining about ‘rising anti-Semitism’: can’t you?
