An immigrant delivery man bashed unconscious during a botched four-on-one Manhattan mugging died of his injuries months later, cops said Sunday.
Santiago Ajsac Sirin never recovered after he was attacked by a group of crooks on Second Ave. near E. 29th St. in Kips Bay at about 5:40 p.m. July 13.
Medics rushed Ajsac Sirin, 36, to Bellevue Hospital, where he remained until his death Oct. 22. His death, previously unreported, has been deemed a homicide, the NYPD announced Sunday.

Boddie allegedly punched Ajsac Sirin in the face, knocking him back and causing his head to strike the metal tree guard, prosecutors say. Delia then punched him in the head about seven times while Boddie rummaged through the victim’s backpack, prosecutors charge.
Police found Ajsac Sirin unconscious, his face swollen and bleeding. Medics took him to Bellevue Hospital, where doctors performed emergency brain surgery. Even after the procedure, he remained in a medically induced coma and was “neurologically unresponsive,” according to the complaint.
Ajsac Sirin’s cause of death was blunt-force trauma to the back of the head, police sources said.
