General Authority for Roads and Bridges Data Breach

The General Authority for Roads and Bridges (GARB), the Egyptian government agency responsible for managing and developing the nation’s road and bridge infrastructure, has allegedly been compromised. A threat actor claims to have exfiltrated approximately 1GB of data from the agency’s servers, specifically targeting its Contract Extract System. The actor has threatened to publish all the data for free if an unspecified deal is refused.

According to the actor, the allegedly compromised data includes:

• Databases

• Source code

• SSL certificates

• Contract numbers and URLs

• Project operation names, notes, and item types

• Supervising department and region details

• Project start and end dates

• Company names and review statuses

• Assigned project engineers

• Billing information, including upload dates, types, numbers, and notes

• Internal document links (bill PDFs, pamphlet conditions, attribution commands, and vehicle letters)
