I’m in the final few months of working on my upcoming book covering the entire history of Rhodesia now and I just wanted to give a little something to my subscribers since there is less content than usual whilst I get this finished up. The following is a thematic chapter which is placed right after the chapter covering Rhodesia’s Universal Declaration of Independence. The chapter, essentially, is an overview of what Smith’s Rhodesia was like at the time of UDI, what could a visitor expect upon arrival. What kind of people would he meet? How did people in Rhodesia live? What did they do to pass the time? How did the various minority groups, even White minority groups, get along? How did the Rhodesian Whites react to the African population explosion? This short chapter goes over all of those questions and more.
I’ve obviously formatted the below for Substack and added pretty pictures for those of you who are terminally brainrotted and can’t read walls of text from a screen!
As always thanks a lot to all of you who have become Paid Subs, you’re the ones who allow me to do this as well as being able to actually finish writing my book. Can’t put into words how much I appreciate it, cheers!
