Antifa threatens to kill jury after nine members convicted of terrorism charges

Violent far-left extremist group Antifa has threatened a US federal court judge and jury after nine members of a Texas terror cell were found guilty of terrorism charges over a gun and bomb attack on an immigration detention facility.

The nine radical leftist terrorists, two of whom claimed to be “transgender”, were convicted in Fort Worth on Friday over the July 2025 assault on the Prairieland ICE Detention Centre where a local police officer was shot in the neck. Seven other members pleaded guilty last year to providing material support to terrorists.

All nine defendants were convicted of providing material support to terrorists, and rioting. Eight were charged with conspiracy to use/carry explosives, and using/carrying explosives. Ringleader Benjamin Song, a former Marine Corps Reservist, was additionally convicted of attempted murder of a peace officer.

Following the verdict far-left extremists in the court broke into tears and started screaming, leading to two being ejected from the gallery, extremist researcher Andy Ngo reported.

Threats were then made by Antifa-branded and affiliated online accounts against members of the jury, as well as against the the family of District Judge Mark Pittman, who delivered the verdict.

“Antifa is a domestic terrorist organisation that has been allowed to flourish in Democrat-led cities — not under President Trump,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in response to the verdict.

“[This] verdict on terrorism charges will not be the last as the Trump administration systematically dismantles Antifa and finally halts their violence on America’s streets.”

After the failed attack on the Prarieland facility, where explosives and rifles were used, the attackers fled the scene and were arrested in the following days, but Song evaded capture for a month with the assistance of other far-left extremists.

He was eventually brought to justice after a manhunt which resulted in Rebecca Morgan, 24, from Dallas, and Susan Kent, 23, from Kennedale, being charged with aiding the evasion of capture. Both became cooperating witnesses against Song.

The other eight terrorists were found living a squalid “transgender” commune in Dallas.

The police officer who was shot by Song survived and gave testimony at the trial, contributing to the convictions, and the terrorists now face maximum sentences of between 40 years and life in prison.

The attack has been compared to the opening sequence of pro-Antifa movie One Battle After Another, in which an armed assault on an immigration detention facility is led by Antifa militants using firearms and explosives as a distraction.

The movie, which recently won six Academy Awards, depicts the fictional attack sympathetically and was widely interpreted as an endorsement of far-left violence by a major Hollywood studio.

It is not suggested that the Prairieland ICE facility terror attack was directly inspired by the events depicted in the film, which was released weeks after the attack took place.

Donald Trump designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organisation via an executive order in the same month the movie was released, sparking calls for the Australian government to do the same.

Antifa carried out violent attacks on patriotic anti-immigration demonstrators and police at three separate rallies in Melbourne in August, September and October last year, and again on Australia Day.

But no arrests have been made, and Australian authorities made no public statements condemning the far-left group or in response to the US terrorism designation and Texas convictions.
