Headline: Jennifer Buckley v Jasmine Sussex: test of science and freedom of speech as Queensland tribunal prepares to hear case over breastfeeding
Summary: This is one of the most disgusting examples of media gaslighting on “transgenderism” we’ve ever seen.
On face value, “conservative” Murdoch newspaper The Australian looks to be doing good work by shedding light on a lawsuit that reveals how far the “trans” mind virus has penetrated our corrupt institutions, and how damaging our anti-discrimination laws are.
A man called Adrian Buckley, who falsely claims to be a woman, gave his newborn son frozen nipple secretions he produced by taking hormones and other drugs to artificially induce lactation.
When he was criticised by actual breastfeeding expert Jasmine Sussex, who said “only mothers breastfeed”, he sued her for vilification, subjecting her to years of legal threats with the assistance of left-wing lawyers.
We reported on the case last year.
In a serious country Buckley would be in jail for child abuse, or in a mental asylum for gender delusions, but in “modern Australia” he gets away with poisoning his child with disgusting unnatural nipple fluid and weaponising the legal system against a real woman who made factual statements about it.
You’d think that The Australian would be able to report accurately on the case, but in the very first paragraph they describe Buckley as a “mum” and refer to her as a woman, a practice that continues throughout the article:
“After Adrian became Jennifer and booked in for sex reassignment surgery, she did what came naturally to a mum and breastfed her newborn son.”
Lie upon lie upon lie.
A man cannot become a woman. Sex cannot be “reassigned”. Buckley is not a “she”. Buckley is not a “mum”. Breastfeeding cannot “come naturally” to him. Buckley cannot breastfeed.
This sets the tone of the article from the very beginning, and while it may appear to some supporters of Ms Sussex that the story presents her case positively, what it really does is reinforce left-wing extremist gender ideology, which undermines her position.
The article is not only biased against Ms Sussex, because it implies that Buckley is a woman, but it uses the same far-left language and implications that Buckley’s legal team will use in court.
The journalist tries to wave this away by writing, deep in the middle of the story: “Words are bullets in this politically fraught space. For the purposes of this article, we have used the term ‘breastfeed’ in relation to Ms Buckley, as well as her preferred pronouns.”
In other words: “We’ve decided to call this deranged man a woman even though he’s not and present falsehoods as facts because we are cowards.”
Clearly The Australian knows the facts here, and its editorial staff probably a) side with Ms Sussex, and b) don’t believe in far-left extremist gender ideology, but this makes their use of their enemies’ language even worse.
When a left-wing media outlet reports on “transgenderism”, at least they are being honest about their bias and believe their own lies.
But when an outlet that should know better does the same, it is a complete betrayal of the subjects of the story and their readership, and is a far more insidious type of manipulation.
And to be clear, The Australian’s article isn’t balanced, it isn’t neutral, it isn’t factual. It uses far-left extremist gender terminology to the maximum extent, the same way The Guardian would.
Nor does pretending there are two sides to this story as they did in the headline amount to being balanced. There are no two sides to the issue of “transgenderism” – there are facts, and left-wing lies. There is no test of science, the science is settled. There is no test of free speech, we don’t have it.
Ultimately, this story exposes how far to the left the media has drifted, in that there are zero major outlets who dare to report factually on “transgenderism” – putting them far out of touch with the average Australian.
At the end of the day, you can’t trust anything these people write, because if they can’t even be honest about the most basic biological facts, what else are they lying about?

Subtext: Men can become women, men can breastfeed, and you should lose your job and your career and be bankrupted in court if you say you disagree
