MacMulkin Chevrolet Data Breach: 1.4 Million Customer Records for Sale

MacMulkin Chevrolet, a major United States automotive dealership and reportedly the world’s largest Corvette dealer, has allegedly been compromised in a significant data breach. A database containing over 1.4 million records belonging to the dealership’s users was spotted for sale on a cybercrime forum on January 21, 2026. The dataset, originating from the domain macmulkin.net, is being offered by a threat actor for a one-time price of $700. The seller states they are only selling once suggesting an attempt to maintain the exclusivity of the stolen data.

According to the actor, the compromised database contains 1,450,480 records. The sample provided suggests the exposure of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of customers. The allegedly compromised data fields include:

  • First names

  • Last names

  • Physical addresses (City, State, Postal Code)

  • Email addresses

  • Phone numbers (including Landline and Cellphone)
