Oakland police on Monday released the names of the two people killed in a mass shooting over the weekend as 33-year-old Latetia Bobo and 25-year-old Markise Martin.
Bobo, who was previously identified by friends and her employer, and Martin died early Saturday following a shooting at EZ’s Lounge, a nightclub on 14th Street near Broadway, according to police and media reports. Five other people were injured and listed in stable condition.

Police on Monday said investigators were searching for suspects. Officers detained multiple people at the scene Saturday and recovered several firearms, but the identities of those detained were not immediately released.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting were unknown as of Monday.
