Aussie shocked after fragile package smashed by foreign courier

A courier from a foreign company has been caught on camera throwing a fragile package over an unlocked gate in Melbourne, smashing the item inside.

Melbourne man Jay Mirelli told Noticer News he checked his CCTV cameras after opening the package to find the bedside table he had ordered from a Sydney-based furniture was damaged.

The video shows the courier, who is of Indian subcontinental appearance, pushing the gate, carelessly dropping the package, scanning the barcode and then throwing it over the gate, which Mr Mirelli said could easily have been opened.

The package was delivered by Aramex Australia, the retailer’s Dubai-based courier company. Aramex Melbourne had a 1.3 star rating on Google from 8,401 reviews at the time of writing.

“I was horrified at how the courier initially dropped the box on the ground before throwing it over a six-foot gate,” he said.

“It weighed 12kg, so he would have know throwing it would cause damage. The gate was unlocked and easily opened with the latch.

“Made a complaint to Aramex/retailer but haven’t heard back.”

Another Melbourne resident responded to Mr Mirelli’s video in the comments with his own clip showing a different courierthrowing a vinyl delivery at his front door.

That clip show the courier, also of Indian subcontinental appearance, opening the front gate, and instead of walking a few steps to put the package down hurling the item, causing it to bounce several times.

The videos sparked criticism of mass immigration on X, where hundreds of commenters bemoaned plummeting standards in Australia and across the Western world due to the habits of third worlders.

“You can’t bring lazy low IQ [people] into a functioning society and expect good results. Multiculturalism is a dangerous experiment that has failed,” read one popular comment.

“If they aren’t dumping rubbish on the side of the road, they are shitting on the beaches, or not giving two fucks about the FRAGILE sticker on the package,” said another.

“This is a perfect example of why most South Asian countries are shit holes. They are full of people with the same attitude as this dickhead,” a third remarked.

“The next generation will never be able to afford a home and get replaced just so the current generation can get deliveries by these people $5 cheaper. And many are celebrating it,” observed another Aussie.
