Mideast, a Saudi Arabian company, has allegedly been compromised in a severe data breach affecting its main website, subdomains, and mobile applications hosted on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The incident reportedly involves the theft of over 40 GB of database content as well as the complete source code for the company’s website and applications. According to the forum post offering the data for sale, the underlying infrastructure was completely compromised, reportedly forcing the company to take its systems offline and rebuild its databases from scratch.
