Billionaire owner of online prostitution hub OnlyFans dead at 43

The billionaire owner of online prostitution hub OnlyFans has died of cancer at age 43.

Leonid Radvinsky’s death was announced by the controversial company on Monday, and a company spokesperson said it was “deeply saddened” by the news.

“Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time,” the spokesperson said.

The Ukrainian-born Jewish entrepreneur peddled pornography on the internet from age 17, and in 2018 bought OnlyFans’ parent company, Fenix International Limited, becoming its majority shareholder and director and paying himself dividends of at least $1 billion in each of the three years to 2025.

Radvinsky donated at least $11 million to pro-Israel lobby group the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), lived in the United Kingdom, and obtained American citizenship.

OnlyFans has been the subject of repeated complaints about child abuse and non-consensual material, and a study last year found that girls as young as 12 were aware of the site and viewed selling their bodies online as an “appealing career path”.
