A prostitute who sold herself on pornography subscription site OnlyFans has been released on bail while awaiting sentencing for making violent child abuse videos in her Brisbane apartment.
The woman in her 30s, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faced the District Court on Thursday where she pleaded guilty to two counts of making child exploitation material in the form of videos, one count of distributing child exploitation material, and two counts of common assault.
The court heard she committed the assaults between November 30, 2022, and February 23, 2023, and sent the three videos to a man on February 22 who then returned to the apartment and found the child crying, The Courier Mail reported.
The online prostitute was supposed to be sentenced on Thursday, but Judge Nathan Jarro adjourned the case so her lawyers could obtain an expert medical report, even though defence barrister Tracy Thorp told the court her client had “no diagnosed mental health issues”.
“I note your client did attend upon a psychologist a number of months in 2023, that identified to me… perhaps that person could assist with… what could be diagnosed as post-natal depression to inform the court of your client’s culpability in the circumstances,” Judge Jarro said.
“I’m giving you the opportunity if you want it to obtain an appropriately qualified opinion.”
The woman, who once had thousands of followers on the controversial sex site, walked free from court on bail while her case is adjourned for up to three months awaiting the report.
The case comes after the billionaire owner of OnlyFans, Leonid Radvinsky, died of cancer at age 43 earlier this week.
