Operation Moonshot: Could It Control Free Speech on X and Beyond with the ADL’s Anti-White Agenda?

A 4chan post from April 14, 2025, on the /pol/ board talks about a UK program called Operation Moonshot. There are two Moonshot programs. One tracks people who look at “extremist” stuff, conspiracy theories, and fake news. The other is a test. It checks if people are “negative” or a risk. If they’re not, they get a “freedom pass.” It’s called a coincidence, but it might explain how X controls who gets heard. This is about “freedom of speech, not freedom of reach.” It’s an X thing, but it goes beyond. The Anti-Defamation League ADL might be using this to silence all of us who are pro-White. It’s stopping our voices from being heard.

The Wikipedia page says Moonshot makes tools to study online behavior. It focuses on “extremist” content. Tech companies like Google, Facebook, and Twitter fund it. Twitter is now X. Moonshot also works with the UK government for money. The other Moonshot program tests people. It decides who’s safe. If you pass, you get a freedom pass. We don’t know what the test is. But it sounds like it could decide who gets to speak freely online.
X follows the idea of “freedom of speech, not freedom of reach.” You can post what you want. But X doesn’t have to show it to everyone. They use systems to hide posts they think are bad. Moonshot’s tools might help them decide who to hide. They could track who looks at conspiracy stuff. Then X might lower their reach. The freedom pass idea is worse. It means you’d need to pass a test to be heard at all.
The ADL is likely involved. In 2021, the ADL worked with Moonshot to counter violence and disinformation during the US election. They redirected over 34,000 searches tied to what they call violent or misleading content—like QAnon conspiracies—to other material. They also tracked what they call “harmful rhetoric” on platforms like X, 4chan, and Parler. We’re pro-White. We don’t see our speech as harmful. We’re speaking our truth as White nationalists. The ADL shared this data with government and law enforcement to stop election-related violence. Posts on X claim the ADL created the “freedom of speech, not reach” phrase and built the censorship algorithm X uses. If true, the ADL could be using Moonshot’s tools to flag our pro-White content as “extremist” and limit its reach on X. We see the ADL as anti-White. They’re trying to stop us from speaking. This lets them control what ideas spread while pretending to support free speech.
We’re pro-White. Many of us run projects to share our views and build our community online. But we can’t get them to grow on X. Our posts don’t reach many people. Perhaps Moonshot might be why. If they label our content as “extremist” or risky, X could be hiding our posts. The ADL might be behind it, flagging our work to shut us down. We might not pass their test. So we don’t get a freedom pass. That means our pro-White projects can’t reach more people.
This isn’t just about X. Google and Facebook work with Moonshot too. They might use the same tools. They could already be limiting who gets seen. If you’re labeled a risk, your posts might not show up much. If you’re safe, you get more reach. This splits the internet in two. One group gets to be heard. The other doesn’t.
Some people say this stops free speech. They think it’s hidden censorship. Others say it’s needed to stop fake news and “extremism.” Many online don’t trust Moonshot. They think it’s a way to control what we say while pretending we’re free.
The UK government and X haven’t said anything about Moonshot. We don’t know how much they use it. The ADL hasn’t confirmed their role either. But the line between free speech and being heard is getting tricky. Moonshot might be making that line. The ADL could be helping with their anti-White agenda. For all of us who are pro-White, it’s why our projects can’t grow. On X and other platforms, our free speech as White nationalists might depend on passing a test.
