A Senegalese football supporter forcibly kissed popular French streamer Minaravel in the middle of her stream right before the Senegal versus France World Cup match.
The victim was waiting for the France vs. Senegal kickoff when she decided to stream live from the Châtelet–Les Halles in Paris with her partner. He briefly left and she was joined by another female friend of hers, who is also a streamer.
The Senegalese supporter suddenly appears and begins to forcibly kiss Minaravel, who maintains a smile up until the moment the man left. On X and Reddit, numerous users note that many women react in this manner out of fear and in the hope that the man involved does not become more aggressive. In effect, women smile or even laugh during such encounters to avoid a more aggressive response.
She does, however, tell him: “Really, you’re way too comfortable! What’s wrong with you?”
She then tells her audience: “There’s no shame even when we’re livestreaming. The guy, we see his face!”
On X, the Remix News post went viral but has since been censored by X and cannot be embedded.
French identitarian activist Thaïs d’Escufon also commented on the incident, writing: “Live sexual assault in Chatelet (Paris): A man kisses a streamer without her consent during a live broadcast. Can you guess where he is from? Warning: French government might send you to jail if you say it.”

D’Escufon is currently on trial and facing a potential prison sentence for “incitement to racial hatred” for a comment she made on BFMTV in 2023, where she stated: “The main danger for women is immigrant men, Africans, blacks, and Arabs.” She was discussing the case of a woman raped by a migrant who already had a deportation order.
D’Escufon was nearly raped by a migrant herself in 2021, as Remix News covered at the time.
She could be sentenced today, June 18, and faces a one-year prison sentence and a €45,000 fine.
The latest incident involving Minaravel has not yet been covered by any major French news outlet, but various streamers in France have faced similar situations, and in some cases, far worse encounters.
Last year, famed Korean streamer “Jinnytty” was brutally attacked by a man reportedly of North African origin on the streets of Toulouse.
