A 55-year-old man allegedly went on a racist rant in a grocery store parking lot, hurling racial slurs toward a Black woman while boasting about white privilege, court records show.
Randall Lee Miller is charged with a hate crime stemming from a confrontation last month at an Aldi in Cascade Township.
When questioned by police, Miller, who is white, doubled down on his statements, telling an investigator he would say “something as equally as offensive” to any person of a different race.

The woman said she was pulling into the Aldi parking lot when a Jeep, driven by Miller, cut her off. While both were in their vehicles, Miller started to yell at the woman using racial slurs such as “n—– b—-,” the affidavit states.
Police said Miller then told the woman, “You’re the reason why we need to bring back hanging n—–s from trees.”

Miller was arraigned on a hate crime charge on March 31. He remains free on a $20,000 surety bond.
