Far-left extremist protesters hurled abuse at Pauline Hanson outside a Melbourne fundraiser and called for her and One Nation to “die”, but police only arrested a nationalist activist.
The $2,000/head meet-and-greet was moved from Moonee Ponds to South Melbourne at the last minute due to safety concerns after radical leftist agitators vowed to disrupt the event.
The left-wing mob then gathered outside the new venue with a banner saying “DEATH TO ONE THIS NATION” and yelled “die Pauline”, “Nazi scum” and “shame” at Ms Hanson and One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce.

The protesters, who included a man wearing a skirt and a “free Palestine” T-shirt, were allowed to surround the event, while police wearing new safety helmets swarmed and violently detained Michael Nelson, 22, a former member of the now-disbanded National Socialist Network.
Videos of his arrest show Mr Nelson saying “Hail Pauline”, calling her the “great White hope”, saying “she wants to stop the masses of the third world flooding into this nation and restore a White Australia”, and repeatedly shouting “you traitor Communists” as he was escorted away from the protest.
“I believe the Communists are nothing but violent thugs, I believe that One Nation is the pathway to deporting every single foreigner from Australia,” he said as he was placed into a police van in handcuffs.
Victoria Police said Mr Nelson was given a “direction to move on” and denied he had been arrested.
Ms Hanson and her entourage were then forced to leave the venue through a back entrance in an alleyway while protesters used a drone to try to track her, the Herald Sun reported.
Mr Joyce also responded to the protesters’ chants by saying “we’re no Nazis, that’s just crap”, while Ms Hanson said “this has happened for many years and it’s a shame”.
