Aussies slam Anthony Albanese over message to Keir Starmer: ‘You’re next’

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been slammed over a condolence message he posted after the resignation of his left-wing UK counterpart Sir Keir Starmer, with many Aussies predicting he will be next.

Sir Keir, nicknamed “two-tier Keir” by critics of the UK’s antiwhite justice system, choked back tears as he announced his resignation as prime minister and Labour leader on Monday, just two years after leading his party to a landslide election victory.

He will remain caretaker PM until the party chooses a successor, which looks likely to be former Manchester mayor Andy Burnham – the winner of a special election in the seat of Makerfield last week.

Mr Albanese paid tribute to Sir Keir on social media, calling him a “friend”, and saying “I’m thinking of him on what must be a very tough day”.

“Serving in public life is a tremendous privilege but politics can also be a harsh business,” Mr Albanese wrote.

“When the time comes for Keir to leave Downing Street, he can be proud of the contribution he has made to the country he loves and to the Labour Party that he led back to Government in 2024.

“I’m grateful for the opportunities we had to work together to strengthen our AUKUS defence and security partnership, support the brave people of Ukraine and keep children safe from the damage that social media can do.”

But everyday Australians responded to the post by saying they hoped Mr Albanese would step down also, with many writing “you’re next”, and the most popular comment saying “follow his lead”.

“A friend? He’s allowed the rape and sexual abuse of hundreds of thousands of English women and young girls. Nice friends you keep champ,” said another popular comment, one of many referring to a recent report on Britain’s Pakistani Muslim child rape gangs.

“Keir Starmer covered up the mass rape of little White girls by Pakistani Muslims in the UK. Wrote letters to them with warnings while he was a prosecutor and then blocked all enquiries while in government. I bet you are best friends,” said another.

“I pray you are next. You’ve messed up immigration and energy way worse than he did,” said a third.

The Rape Gang Inquiry report found the Labour Party bore “particular responsibility” for the victimisation of 250,000 White British girls by mainly Muslim gangs, and detailed Sir Keir’s role in the scandal, stating that while he was Director of Public Prosecutions “13,000 suspected rape gang members and paedophiles were let off with warning letters”.

Sir Keir’s resignation came after Labour spent more than a year lagging behind Reform UK in the polls, while in Australia Pauline Hanson’s One Nation has also overtaken Mr Albanese’s party in successive major surveys.
