They Want to Eat Your Country

You’ve heard of the Democratic Socialists of America or DSA, who have lately been knocking off standard Democrats in primaries, but let them speak for themselves. Note the sign that says, “Eat the rich.”

It’s old-fashioned class struggle. “Capitalism is a system designed by the owning class to exploit the rest of us for their own profit.”

That includes all landlords, and every big company. DSA wants public ownership, guaranteed housing and jobs, and free medicine for everyone.

You can’t be in the party without also asserting that Israel is an apartheid state and is committing genocide against Palestinians.

Another fetish is “Abolish ICE,” here tied directly to “Abolish profit.”

That’s because “immigrant and worker rights, one struggle one fight.”

Opening the border to millions would drive wages down and housing costs up, but that won’t happen, you see, because they’ll tax the rich to pay for everything. Here is the central sentiment expressed in the American vernacular, and here it is in Spanish, which is the second language of DSA.

The DSA claims to have 240 chapters and more than 120,000 members.

I will introduce the 10 most important Democratic Socialists, chosen objectively for me by AI. Each one hates ICE, Israel, and rich people, unless they’re family members — that’s OK. They want free stuff for their darling “working people,” but they, themselves, are never plumbers or farmers. And they are utterly alien.

The best known is New York Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani.

His father is a Gujarati Muslim, his mother is a Punjabi Hindu. He’s Muslim — there he is in blue, saying his prayers. He took the oath of office on a Koran.

He has been a US citizen for only nine years and continues to be a citizen of Uganda, where he was born. His wife is Rama Duwaji, whose parents are Syrian Muslims.

The marriage was in Dubai in a lavish Muslim ceremony. Not exactly working class.

They got married again in Uganda on Dad’s lush estate with views of Lake Victoria.

That second wedding lasted three days, was protected by 20 armed guards, and enlivened by friendly monkeys.

In New York City, Mr. Mamdani wants free day care, free transit, and happy times for illegals and the entire LGB alphabet. He wants city-run grocery stores, and the first will go up under a freeway in Spanish Harlem, cost $30 million, and this dump is the artist’s conception.

He says, “I don’t think we should have billionaires,” and promised to raise taxes on “richer and whiter” neighborhoods because the city’s property tax system isn’t fair.

Less well known is 30-year-old Melat Kiros.

She was born in Ethiopia, and her father came to the US on a diversity visa. She won the Congressional primary in a Denver district that is 55 percent white and 30 percent Hispanic and where Democrats never lose.

She defeated a 30-year congressional veteran white woman named Diana DeGette, who is a fourth-generation Coloradan and a fierce progressive, but Miss Kiros said she was old and out of touch, didn’t hate Israel enough, and was a “corporate Democrat.”

Miss Kiros says we have looted the “Global South,” and America needs more non-whites like her in Congress to make sure we pay it all back.

Sarahana Shrestha is Nepalese, for heaven’s sake.

She came to the US at age 21, became a US citizen at age 39, and got herself elected to the New York State legislature just three years later. Her upstate New York district is 80 percent white. In her last primary, she won two-to-one against a local white woman, Gabriella Madden, who had worked as a staffer in the state house for six years.

Miss Shrestha’s state-house bio starts with life in Nepal: “Her view of justice and democracy was shaped by bearing witness to extreme wealth inequality, the intersection of ethnicity, caste, gender, religion, and class.”

I guess white voters like her “view of justice and democracy.”

Jabari Brisport represents Brooklyn in the New York state senate.

The first line of his website bio says, “Jabari is a queer, Black, former public-school teacher — as well as a proud socialist, union member, and child of an undocumented immigrant.”

Both parents are from Guyana, and his father was an illegal.

His state senate page highlights the fact that he is Chair of the Committee on Children and Families.

Here he is, whooping up free child-care for all children, age 2, to kindergarten.

I guess he’s really interested in children.

He attended Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn where he got a free ride as a “high-achieving student of color.”

Tuition is now $70,000 a year. He also got an MFA from Yale.

You’ve heard of Rashida Tlaib.

She has been in Congress since 2019, representing a Michigan district that is 25 percent Arab and 44 percent black. She is the first Palestinian elected to Congress, and she and Ilhan Omar were the first two Muslim women in Congress, and both took the oath on the Koran.

On her first day in office, speaking of President Trump, she said, “we’re gonna impeach the mother fucker.” She is a lifelong hater of ICE and Israel, and is convinced that American policing is “inherently and intentionally racist,” and therefore must be abolished.

One of her big accomplishments in Congress was to get a Detroit post office named after Rosa Parks.

Claire Valdez just won the Dem primary in a safe district in New York City, so will be going to Congress, too.

In the second line of her campaign bio, she says she is “A dual citizen of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Nation and the United States.”

This means she’s a member of the Tigua tribe in Texas that runs the Speaking Rock Casino.

It’s open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, with live entertainment of various kinds, including traditional tribal activities such as female-only Jiu-Jitsu.

The Casino rakes in hundreds of millions and showers benefits on the 5,000 members of the tribe.

Texas gamblers support a plush deal for Claire and her fellow tribesmen, but that doesn’t stop her jabbering about “holding the bosses accountable” and confiscating their “obscene profits.”

Darializa Avila Chevalier is also on her way to Congress from New York City, after she won her primary in the most heavily Dominican district in America.

Her parents are Dominicans, and she clearly has ancestry from the other side of the island.

When she was at Columbia, she co-founded a student organization to call for the “total eradication of Western civilization.”

She says, “We just should not have a system that allows deportation to happen at all.” That’s because all deportations are “rooted in deeply racist ideology.”

She converted to Islam when she was 20, because she says Muslims have a passion for social justice.

Is this a tweet about social justice? “I forgot to get napkins so I just wiped my hand on the American flag behind me.”

For the World cup, she rooted for Senegal.

Julia Salazar, the first Democratic Socialist to go to the New York state senate in 2018, is the most normal-looking of the lot.

Her mother was an actual white American, born in America, but she is redeemed because Dad was Colombian — and dumped Mom before Julia was 10. She says that, thanks to Dad, she is both Hispanic and Jewish, though some people think the Jewish claim is phony.

She started out as a pro-life Republican, but went to Columbia, where she learned to hate Israel and capitalism and love abortion. Before she went into politics, she worked for Jews for Racial & Economic Justice, known as J-FREJ

Julia is in the second row as Treasurer of the Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic & Asian Caucus in Albany.

Then there is Phara Souffrant Forrest, who represents Brooklyn in the state house.

Her parents are from Haiti — wouldn’t you know it. She got a nursing degree and used to be a nurse, but she left that for DSA politics.

She is especially fierce about tearing down what she calls “our inhuman criminal justice system,” and wants to “defund and reimagine” policing.

And, finally, there’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, shown here with her national flag.

She is Puerto Rican and has represented Brooklyn and Queens in Congress since 2019. She worked for the National Hispanic Institute before she ran for Congress.

She says we don’t talk enough about racism, so she makes up for it: “White supremacy exists for a reason . . . . if you can convince a poor white man that he’s superior to a black man, he’ll empty his pockets for you.” She’s not keen on Donald Trump: “Watching this guy just be racist from the Oval Office. I saw it as a defilement.” Or the border patrol: “Officers were keeping women in cells w/ no water & had told them to drink out of the toilets.”

As you have seen, there isn’t a single normal American among them. They are the kind of people you wouldn’t expect even to be living here, much less running things. Of the 10, there is one hetero man, one homo, and eight women. They account for only three functioning marriages — Miss Tlaib’s failed years ago — and only three children. Again, not normal people.

These brazen newcomers are determined, literally, to wipe their hands on the flag and rip the country up by its roots. This is the price we paid for decades of racial insanity. Now, these outlanders have constituencies, and even crazed white people who vote for them.

Yes, the country’s going fast, and if we’re going to save even a piece of it, we’ve got a lot of work to do.
