Patriots attacked by far-left while passing ‘Camp Sovereignty’ after pro-Australia march

A group of flag-waving pro-Australia demonstrators were attacked by a large mob of violent and aggressive left-wing extremists while passing so-called Camp Sovereignty after leaving a rally in Melbourne on Saturday.

One of the group of five told Noticer News they were leaving the Australia Unites Against Government Corruption rally on September 13 when they were pelted with eggs and had their flags stolen by antifa and pro-Palestine thugs, and video shows a man kicking his car.

The frightening incident occurred in the same area where far-left counter-protesters assaulted attendees of a March for Australia rally and vandalised their cars on August 31, sparking an alleged clash between them and the National Socialist Network at “Camp Sovereignty” – an illegal aboriginal squatter encampment occupied by radical anti-Australian indigenous activists.

“Two Aussie flags were raised in the back of the ute tub and we proceeded to drive past ‘Camp Sovereignty’ on our travels (we didn’t even know of its existence), and as we drove past we had pro-Palestine antifa supporters yelling at us,” the man, who asked to stay anonymous, said.

“We stopped at a red light where they took the opportunity to come up to the car and throw eggs into the car and rip the flags off. That’s when I proceeded to chase one of the people doing the egging down the road where I was swarmed by at least 20 of them.

“Before I could put up a fight the police interjected and told me to go away. As I was walking back to the car I was chased by another group holding Palestine flags and such. My mate and I made it back to the car where one of them proceeded to kick the car.”

The video, taken at the end of the attack, shows a man in a hoodie running up to kick his ute as they drive away, while another person can be seen holding a stolen Australian flag in the background.

The 25-year-old patriot, who was with his wife, friend, father and sister, said the leftist mob were “violent and aggressive” and that he has no confidence that the police will take action against the attackers.

The incident followed a series of attacks carried out by far-left extremists at the September 13 rally, and on August 31 where they threw eggs, tins of fruit, and petrol, and bashed an elderly man so badly he needed to spend the night in hospital.

Police have so far charged 10 nationalist activists over the alleged August 31 incident, including leader Thomas Sewell who was told to disavow his political ideology to get bail, and ultimately refused bail by a magistrate who said the public needed to be protected from “hateful speech”.

Victoria Police have refused to reveal whether anyone has been arrested over the September 13 attack.
