A nationalist political prisoner who has been in jail for almost two months after being denied bail for an alleged Telegram post has been hit with seven more charges for allegedly vilifying Jews, Indians and Africans on a podcast and during an election stunt.
White Australia and National Socialist Network activist Joel Davis, 30, has been behind bars since being arrested in Bondi on November 20 for allegedly writing “Patriots – I bid thee to rhetorically rape Allegra Spender” in response to the federal MP calling for him and other members of the NSN to be jailed for a protest against Jewish lobby influence outside NSW Parliament.
Mr Davis was then refused bail by a magistrate, who cited his political opinions when determining he was an “unacceptable risk to the community”, and members of the Australian Federal Police National Security Investigations teams have stated that Mr Davis would not have been charged if not for his political activism.
After his last rejected bail application on December 23, Mr Davis was moved to the Long Bay Correctional Complex, which earlier that month was declared “incapable of providing safe and humane conditions” by the state’s prison watchdog, and was also housing alleged ISIS terrorist Naveed Akram, who is facing 59 charges over the Bondi massacre. Akram has since been transferred to another prison.
Mr Davis is facing a single charge of “using a carriage service to menace, harass or cause offence” over the Telegram post, which he intends to fight in court, but has been classified as a “national security threat” and placed in 24-hour isolation, refused access to his lawyer and books, has a restricted phone list, and has been hit with seven more charges by Victoria Police.
The new charges were laid in late December but Noticer News was unable to obtain full details until now due to Mr Davis’s prison restrictions.

The new charges relate to a podcast episode from December 19, 2024, titled “Terrorism is either gay or faked by Jews to take our rights away” where Mr Davis is alleged to have committed three serious religious or racial vilification offences while discussing Jewish community pressure to tighten “hate speech” laws, mass Indian immigration into Australia, and an alleged African sex criminal. He has also been charged with three counts of “use a carriage service to offend”.
The vilification charges are punishable by six months in jail, and the carriage service charges are punishable by up to five years’ imprisonment.
During the episode of the Joel & Blair Show podcast, which was published on free speech platform Rumble, Mr Davis, co-host Blair Cottrell and White Australia leader Thomas Sewell discussed Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan announcing new anti-vilification laws. The laws have since passed parliament and came into effect in September 2025, replacing those used to charge Mr Davis, but are set to be superseded again in June 2026.
Ms Allan began her comments by saying “today, the government of Victoria renews its promise to Jews”, and Mr Davis went on to criticise the Jewish lobby for calling for the new laws in a series of statements police allege were made “with the intention of inciting serious contempt for, or revulsion or severe ridicule of” Jewish people, on the basis of their religion.
In one of the segments highlighted in police documents, Mr Davis said:
“Now, this is actually something that everyday Australians have to be confronted with, which is that they live in a Jewish-dominated society. And why does 0.4% of the population get to order the government around? Why does the government, why are the major parties falling all over themselves to grovel to this group?
“They’re not a significant voter base. There’s barely any Jewish voters. So the only reason that they could be grovelling to them is because they have money and power. It’s the only reason – they have a lot of it. And that should concern you, that your government is beholden to a tiny ethnic group, with incredible money and power that can essentially, according to the whims of its hysteria, trash your rights.”
In another segment highlighted by police he said:
“On the Jewish issue, the conservatives are even deeper up the arsehole of the Jews than the left, frankly. The Jews completely just own the conservative movement. It’s grotesque.”

During the podcast the trio went on to discuss One Nation running a Sikh candidate, Parminder Singh, in Western Australia, and his comments that mass immigration from the Indian subcontinent was good because Indians like him “work 100 hours a week”.
In comments highlighted by police, Mr Davis said:
“This is like the slave mentality of Indians. This is why the globalists, big business, the Jews, that’s why they want to bring Indians into this country. Or one of the reasons why they want bring them in. I mean, for some groups like the far left and the Jews, they just want to replace us, out of like racial animus towards the White race. But from a business standpoint, one of the reasons they want to bring them in, and from a political standpoint, is because they’re a slave race.
“They have pure economic mindset, like of a slave. They don’t have a sense of freedom, a sense of higher spirituality or any of these things that White people have, a sense of higher dignity or honour or any of these things. And so that makes them easier to rule. That’s why we could show up to India during the British Empire with 20,000 Anglos and run their whole continent of hundreds of millions of slave browns.
“We did it for hundreds of years and it was easy because, they’re a pathetic race and this is why they want to bring them in, because they’ll accept shitty conditions and they’ll work long hours and they’ll work three different jobs, because all they care about is money. The quality of life in India sucks, it’s still better than back home. And this is great for big business, but it’s depressing your wages and destroying your quality of life.”
Police allege Mr Davis made the comments publicly on the grounds of the race of a class of persons, being Indian people, “knowing that it was likely to incite serious contempt for, or revulsion or severe ridicule” of that class of persons.
Near the end of the podcast Mr Davis brought up a video released by police of a man of African appearance after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in the street.
In comments highlighted by police, Mr Davis said:
“Why do we build planes and boats and transport savage fucking rapist beasts halfway across the fucking world into our country? You know, give them like Centrelink bucks and feed them full of KFC hormones and just let them roam the streets, with no supervision.”
Police allege Mr Davis made the comments publicly on the grounds of the race of a class of persons, namely African people, “knowing that it was likely to incite serious contempt for, or revulsion or severe ridicule” of that class of persons.
Mr Davis is facing further charges over a pre-election stunt in April last year where he handed out satirical leaflets to early voters in Melbourne mocking the Liberal Party for its policies on Israel, free speech and anti-Semitism.
On Friday Mr Cottrell made a video about Mr Davis’s imprisonment and treatment in jail after speaking to him on the phone the previous night.
Blair Cottrell reveals political prisoner Joel Davis is being denied basic rights in jail due to being classified as a “national security threat”.

“No bible, no shower, he doesn’t get any yard time, he hasn’t seen the sun in well over a month, he said, and he doesn’t have the right to complain because of his classification as a national security threat,” Mr Cottrell said.
“I’ve never really heard of a situation like that before, especially not for somebody accused of a crime that’s really not that serious. And Joel’s just the first person they’re hitting with this.
“This hasn’t happened to anybody in Australia for ideological reasons before – no one has been thrown in jail, declared a national security risk, denied books, denied showers, denied access to basic human rights, because of a social media post. This has never happened before in Australian history, and it’s bad for everybody.”
The day before Mr Davis’s previous court appearance, where bail was denied when a magistrate ruled that his circumstances had not changed enough to warrant a new application, another man was granted bail after being charged for allegedly calling for the kidnapping of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and earlier that month another man was given bail after being charged for allegedly threatening to kill Communications Minister Anika Wells.
A report on Long Bay tabled in parliament on December 4 by the NSW Inspector of Custodial Services recommended that the LBH 2 facility where remand prisoners are held be shut down along with the Metropolitan Special Programs Centre (MSPC), which opened in 1909 and houses a variety of inmates.
“We found the infrastructure of MSPC and LBH 2 to be ‘dilapidated, unsafe, and not fit for purpose’ and ‘incapable of providing safe and humane conditions’ and recommend these facilities be permanently closed,” Custodial Services Inspector Fiona Rafter said.
