The Gentlemen ransomware group claims to have breached Sawafi, a prominent Saudi Arabian company specializing in drilling, completions, and production services tailored for the oil and gas sector. Sawafi is known for providing advanced technologies, including eco-friendly electric submersible pumps, and plays a role in supporting national self-sufficiency goals within the region’s energy sector.

According to the actor, the specific contents of the allegedly compromised data have not yet been publicly detailed. The ransomware group has instead posted a countdown timer, scheduled to activate in approximately 103 hours, at which point the exfiltrated corporate data will likely be published if their extortion demands are not met.
