Bodycam shows UK police ignoring Henry Nowak as he says he’s been stabbed

Harrowing bodycam footage shows British cops ignoring Henry Nowak’s pleas for help and handcuffing him instead because his Sikh murderer told them the dying man was a racist.

The three-minute clip was released after Vickrum Digwa, 23, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 21 years on Monday for stabbing Nowak, 18, with a religious knife in Southampton on December 3 last year.

The footage, verdict and revelations from the trial have sparked fury at two-tier antiwhite policing in Britain, with Reform UK leader Nigel Farage declaring “White lives matter too”, and saying the country’s “institutions don’t care about Henry Nowak because he is White”.

Nowak’s father also made a statement where he said that while he and the family see Digwa as solely responsible for the death, they are unhappy with the police response, noting that Digwa was never handcuffed, and was even allowed to wander around the police station and choose food from the kitchen, calling the contrast “unbearable”.

The footage shows police arriving to find Nowak surrounded by Digwa and his family, who made a 999 call where they lied and said Nowak had “racially attacked” Digwa.

Police ask if anyone has been hurt other than Nowak, and Digwa replies “Yeah, me. He’s grabbed my turban off” and then claimed he had a swollen an bruised eye.

Nowak then says “I’ve been stabbed” repeatedly, “I can’t breathe” and “call ambulance” as the officers pull him into a sitting position and handcuff him while he again tells them he’s been stabbed.

“I don’t think you have, mate,” a male officer replies.

Nowak says “I can’t breathe” and the same officer says “put the hand in the cuff mate” as the words “racist attack” can be heard in the background, and someone says “he’s hasn’t been” after Nowak yet again says he’s been stabbed.

The same male officer asks him his name, then tells him he’s under arrest for assault and reads him his rights, but Nowak loses consciousness and a female officer finally calls for an ambulance.

Nowak died of six stab wounds, three inflicted from behind.

Nowak’s father said outside court “Henry did not die with dignity, he did not die with the care he deserved, he lost consciousness before anyone believed him”, and called for an investigation into the police response”.

Mr Farage responded by saying: “This is the most shocking footage of discrimination that you will ever see. A White boy being handcuffed by police officers more concerned by an accusation of racism than an act of murder. This must be a turning point. White lives matter too.”

There have also been growing calls to ban Sikhs from carrying religious knives, for Digwa to be given the death penalty, and for the police officers and the rest of the Digwa family to be prosecuted over Nowak’s death.

Digwa’s mother was also found guilty last week of assisting her son by taking the murder weapon from the scene and hiding it with other weapons in the family home, but his other family members have never been charged.
