A Fijian man has faced court accused of exposing himself to two women on a flight from Melbourne to Brisbane.
Ulaiasi Uto Viladai, 30, appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday charged with one count of indecent exposure over the incident, which occurred on June 1.
Police allege Viladai exposed himself to two women who were seated in the same row as him during the morning domestic flight.
The passengers, who did not know Viladai, reported him to staff and were moved to different seats, and the Fijian national was monitored for the rest of the flight and arrested on arrival.
Police escorted him from the plane before interviewing him and other passengers and flight crew.
Viladai, who court documents show is in Australia on a work visa, left court quickly after his matter was adjourned to August 15, Nine News reported.
The maximum penalty for the indecent exposure charge in 12 months’ imprisonment.
