Anti-immigration protests have erupted in Belfast as fed-up locals took to the streets after a Sudanese so-called asylum seeker tried to behead a White man in the city’s north.
Thousands of masked men vented their anger at immigrant crime on Tuesday night, clashing with police, setting up street barricades and demanding foreigners leave the city.
A bus, cars and multiple homes went up in flames during the night, immigrant businesses were smashed, and in parts of the city protesters attacked police vehicles.
Protests also broke out in Glasgow, Scotland, where police closed roads in response to hundreds of black-clad demonstrators marching through the city centre with a banner saying “we will not submit”, while protesters also gathered in London and in Southampton to pay tribute to Henry Nowak.

Anger boiled over after a Sudanese man, 30, who was granted a five-year visa to stay in the UK after being given asylum in 2023, was caught on camera attempting to behead a man in his 40s on Kinnaird Avenue in North Belfast at about 10:30pm on Monday.
The knifeman has been charged with attempted murder, and the victim remains in a serious condition in hospital with severe injuries to his eyes, face, neck and back.
Horrific footage of the attack shows the knifeman straddling his victim, stabbing him, and sawing at his head and neck with a blade. The video is too graphic to post, but can be found here.
The knifeman can be heard yelling in a foreign language, while horrified bystanders shout “get off him you f**king rat”. Another man then says “he’s trying to cut his head off, hurry up, he’s slicing his head off” in what appears to be a phone call to emergency services.
Three members of the public then run in and attempt to pull the attacker off his victim, one hitting him with a hurling paddle, before police arrive.
Rupert Lowe, the leader of right-wing political party Restore Britain, responded to the attack by calling for the death penalty, mass deportations and an end to mass immigration.
