New Orleans, January 1, 2025 – A vehicle attack followed by gunfire occurred on Bourbon Street in New Orleans at approximately 3:15 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.
- A white pickup truck drove into a crowd.
- The vehicle was reportedly displaying an ISIS flag.
- The driver, shitskin Shamsud-Din Jabbar, aged 42 from Texas, exited the truck with an assault rifle and opened fire.
- The incident resulted in at least 10 fatalities and over 30 injuries, including two police officers.
- Jabbar was killed by law enforcement at the scene.
- An improvised explosive device was found in the truck.
- The attack took place near the intersection of Bourbon and Canal Streets.
- The Sugar Bowl game scheduled for that day was postponed due to the incident.
- The FBI has taken over the investigation, classifying it as a terrorist attack.
