RTL Group, a prominent European entertainment company operating numerous television channels, radio stations, and digital platforms, has allegedly been compromised in a cyberattack targeting its internal network. A recent post on a cybercrime forum claims the company’s intranet website was breached in February 2026, reportedly resulting in the exfiltration of a database containing the records of more than 27,000 employees across its European branches, including RTL Deutschland, Fremantle, and RTL Studios.
